Chun-ja meets Dae-jin who has recently separated from his wife, Yeong-suk. Chun-ja and Dae-jin live together as husband and wife and have a son together. But three years later, Dae-jin decides to get back together with his wife and he takes his young son with him. Chun-ja tries to be understanding about the situation until she hears that her son has died.
